I use “Solomonic magic” to craft my spells. This form of magic is linked to King Solomon of the Bible and involves various grimoires or magical texts. The spoken word is essential in performing rituals and invoking supernatural forces. The Aramaic phrase “Avra Kedabra,” which translates to “I will create as I speak” or “It will be created in my words.”

  1. Invocation and Command: In Solomonic magic, practitioners often invoke and command spiritual entities or forces to accomplish specific tasks, just as King solomon comanded legions of supernatural creatures known as djinn. The spoken word is used to articulate these invocations and commands. This is typically done in a structured and ritualistic manner.

  2. Words of Power: The words used in Solomonic magic are believed to hold power and significance. These words are often derived from ancient languages such as Hebrew, Greek, or Latin, and they are considered to have a vibrational or symbolic resonance that connects with spiritual realms. (I write my spells in poetic rhyme for a reason)

  3. Circles and Symbols: Practitioners often create protective circles or magical symbols on the ground or within ritual spaces. They stand within these circles while speaking the invocations and commands. These circles are believed to provide a barrier of protection from potentially malevolent forces. (I ocasionally create sigils in my works for various purposes.)

  4. Names of Deities and Angels: Solomonic magic frequently involves invoking the names of deities, angels, or other spiritual beings. These names are spoken with reverence and respect, and they are believed to establish a connection with the entities being invoked. (Ars Goeta or Lemegeton Clavicula Salomonis)

  5. Offerings and Prayers: Alongside spoken invocations, practitioners may offer offerings such as incense, candles, or specific materials to demonstrate their sincerity and devotion to the spiritual entities they are working with. Prayers are also used to seek assistance, guidance, or blessings. (These items are rarely required but can be used as tools for attraction or focus to help a magician prove or set their intention.)

  6. Intention and Visualization: While speaking the words of power and performing the ritual actions, practitioners maintain a strong focus on their intentions and desired outcomes. Visualization is often used to mentally project the desired results into the spiritual realm. Spoken worse is the action required for creation.

  7. Bargaining and Pacts: In some cases, Solomonic magic involves making agreements or pacts with the invoked entities. These pacts outline the terms of cooperation and may include promises, offerings, or exchanges in return for assistance or knowledge.

  8. Astrological and Planetary Correspondences: Solomonic magic occasionaly incorporates astrological and planetary correspondences, with specific rituals performed at certain times or under particular celestial conditions, such as during specific lunar phases or planetary alignments.

  9. Moral and Ethical Considerations: Practitioners of Solomonic magic often emphasize the importance of moral and ethical conduct in their dealings with spiritual entities. Breaking promises or using magic for harm is generally discouraged.

It’s essential to understand that Solomonic magic is a complex and esoteric tradition that requires extensive study, practice, and adherence to specific rituals and guidelines. The spoken word, as a tool, is used to establish connections with spiritual forces and to manifest desired outcomes in the material world.

The Basics:

Grimoires:

These are ancient texts that contain instructions, spells, invocations, and rituals. Examples include the Key of Solomon and Lemegeton (also known as the Lesser Key of Solomon).
Preparation:

Practitioners often undergo specific preparations, which may include fasting, purification, wearing particular garments, and preparing ritual tools.

Geometry and Symbols:

Use of symbols, sigils, and geometric shapes that are believed to hold magical power. These are often drawn on parchment, inscribed on tools, or traced in the air.
Spoken Word (Incantations and Invocations):

The spoken word is crucial in Solomonic magic. Incantations and invocations are carefully crafted and pronounced to summon and command spirits or to cast spells.
Process of Solomonic Magic Using the Spoken Word:
Invocation of Divine Names:

The ritual often begins by invoking the names of God or other divine entities to sanctify the space and request their protection and assistance.
Recitation of Psalms or Prayers:

Specific psalms or prayers are recited to align the practitioner with the divine and to establish a sacred connection.
Reading from Grimoires:

The practitioner reads specific passages, incantations, and instructions from the grimoires. These texts provide the exact words and phrases to be used in the ritual.
Direct Command to Spirits:

The practitioner may directly address spirits, using precise language to command their presence and cooperation. This is often done within a protective circle to ensure safety.
Banishment and Closing:

After the ritual is completed, the practitioner uses spoken words to banish any summoned entities and to close the ritual, ensuring no lingering energies remain.
Example of a Simplified Ritual Using Spoken Word:
Preparation:

The practitioner purifies the space and prepares the necessary tools and symbols.
Invocation:

“I invoke thee, O Lord, the fountain of mercy, through thy divine power and grace. Sanctify this space and protect thy servant.”
Reading from a Grimoire:

“By the power of these holy names: Adonai, Elohim, and El Shaddai, (Or alternatively: Lord, Majesty, and Almighty) I call upon thee, O spirit [Spirit Name], to appear before me and to obey my commands.”
Command:

“I, [Practitioner’s Name], by the authority of King Solomon and the divine power vested in me, command thee, [Spirit Name], to fulfill my request and to depart in peace once it is done.”
Banishment:

“Depart now, O spirit [Spirit Name], in the name of the Most High. I release thee from this command and return thee to thy place of origin. Go in peace and harm none.”
By following these steps, practitioners believe they can effectively harness the power of Solomonic magic through the spoken word, invoking supernatural forces to achieve their desired outcomes.

To successfully use this spellbook you will typically need to operate from a certain level of consciousness, while these are not in particular order, you must operate from a medium level of manifestation. I write these spells from a level of “I understand”. I understand.

Levels of consciousness and manifestation can vary depending on the context, but generally, they describe different states of awareness and realization in personal development and spiritual growth. Here’s a simplified list of these levels, progressing from lower to higher states:

  1. Unconscious Incompetence (I Don’t Know What I Don’t Know): At this level, an individual lacks awareness or understanding of a particular skill, concept, or aspect of themselves. They are unaware of their limitations or the need for improvement.
  2. Conscious Incompetence (I Know What I Don’t Know): In this stage, a person becomes aware of their lack of knowledge or skill in a specific area. They recognize their limitations and may feel a desire to learn and improve.

  3. Conscious Competence (I Know): At this level, individuals have acquired knowledge and skill through learning and practice. They can perform tasks or understand concepts, but it requires conscious effort and concentration.

  4. I Understand: This is a state of profound comprehension and wisdom. Individuals have a deep, unshakable understanding of the true nature of reality, themselves, and their interconnectedness with all existence.

  5. Self-Realization (I Am): While not necessarily a lower state, self-realization is the awareness of one’s true self, identity, and purpose. It’s a foundational step toward understanding and enlightenment.

  6. Spiritual Awakening (I Am One): This is a transcendent level of consciousness where the individual experiences a profound connection to all living beings and the universe. Ego boundaries dissolve, and a sense of oneness and unity prevails.

  7. Enlightenment (I Am Infinite): At the highest level, individuals achieve a state of profound wisdom and enlightenment. They have transcended the limitations of the physical self and have a deep, unshakable understanding of the true nature of reality. In this reordered list, it remains the pinnacle of consciousness and understanding.
